Greek School Enrolment & Fees 2019

Enrolments are now open for new and existing students.

Students who are minmum aged 6 and enrolled in Primary School or High School may only apply.

Greek Playgroup is operated from children aged 6 and under by a volunteer parent group, for more information click here.

Fees below apply to all students that participate in both language and/or only dance classes.

Fees paid after 31st March annually in full will be unsubsidised.

 

Make a Fee Payment 

Any deposits/payments to the Greek School Geelong please use the below methods:

Please use your last name as your reference.

PAY IN PERSON

Every Tuesday at Greek School 2 Little Ryrie St from 5pm-7pm.  Cash payments are accepted only by the Greek School Treasurer or President.

Payment options:

Please include a note with the names of the student/s you are paying for.

2. Direct Debit or Bank deposit into our account, Bank Account details provided above. Please include your surname as a reference so we can track your payment.

3.Cash with enrolment form filled out: Provide payment to Emma or Con only. No cash will be accepted if the receipt book is unavailable.

4. Credit card via Paypal NOT CURRENTLY AVAILABLE — (Paypal transaction fees will apply for this payment method. Add $10.00 per paypal payment of fees.)

Important Fee Notes:

1. Fees Payable by 31st March or Non Subsidised Fees Apply

2. The Hellenic Orthodox Community of Geelong: The Community Greek School of Geelong (GS) accepts enrolments on the basis that the student will attend the whole school year.

3. In case of cancellation, as we are a community not for profit school, GS has the discretion whether a refund may be provided and the level of refund for fees that have been paid in advance, provided the Greek School has been informed in writing and the current school term’s fees are covered.

5. If the fees have not been paid in full, no refund will be provided.

6. Term 1 fees are not refundable. A refund applies only for the period exceeding Term 1.

7. GS reserves the right to recoup administrative expenses from parents who fail to respond to its reminders for outstanding fees.

8. GS retains the right to withhold reports as well as to cancel the enrolment of a student, if fees remain unpaid without an approved extension from the Committee.

9. Enrolments received after the 31st March will be charged on a pro rata basis and are non subsidised

Non Subsidised Fees are:

1 Students Enrolled $700

2 Students Enrolled $1300.00

3 Students Enrolled $1600.00

4 or more Students Enrolled $1800.00

No fees discount will apply.

10. No discounts apply to Greek Dancing only students.

11. Fee changes may apply without notice.

12.Families are always welcome to contact the Principal or the President of the Committee to discuss their children’s enrolment including fee paying arrangements should they have any concerns.

Greek School T-shirt

All students are required to have a Greek School Polo Shirt purchased directly from the Committee for $30 per shirt. This shirt is used in various events throughout the year when students are required to wear black or blue skirts (girls) or pants (boys). Second hand shirts are available at times, just ask and we may have second hand shirts in stock.
